Fishing Report

One of our junior anglers Jayden Sopero (pictured) caught a nice Salmon and a HUGE Flatty in the Hacking last week, nice work mate!

Reports of Salmon busting up around Bundeena this morning.

John fished early this morning and on Sunday in Botany Bay for a mixed bag of Bream, Trevally and Tailor. The Bottom Magic and Trout Tune Heavy Weight (pictured) were his lures of choice, with the Bottom Magic working well for Trevally over the sand flats of the bay.

Botany Bay has seen nice sized Tailor smacking metal spinners. A fast retrieval and a strong, abrasion resistant leader are essentials for this type of fishing.

Plenty of big Squid still being caught in the Hacking around the entrance and about 5-6m down.

Kingfish being caught around Little Bay on yellowtail.
