Sydney & Wollongong Fishing Report

John managed a nice mixed bag of snapper, bream and kingfish in the hacking recently. He tried a little tip Fergo gave him a while back where he changed the hooks of the Bottom Magic and replaced them with stinger hooks. After letting it sink down and then dancing it off the bottom with small flicks he managed a nice 35cm snapper, then a bream about the same size, and just lost a kingfish. After plenty of follows by the kingfish he tried his heavier gear out and landed a solid 86cm fish.

Reports of plenty of sand flathead off Cronulla using baits.

Mitch and Sam fished of Sandon Point yesterday and managed a couple of nice snapper using both the Teppan Long Vibe and the Hata Craw Soft Plastics, and also a nice flatty on the Hayabusa Kick Bottom.

Some good sized bluefin tuna were caught off Bermagui a couple of days ago on the boat “Tuna Time”.
