Sydney & Wollongong Fishing Report

The striped marlin have been pushed down the coast as the warmer water has pushed down our way. Bateman’s Bay area has been fishing really well for them recently.

The warmer waters have also brought mac tuna down to our area, good sized fish were being caught off Stanwell Park in 40 fathoms and we’ve also had reports of them being caught off the break wall at Port Kembla.

Dolphinfish are still being caught off the Sydney FAD.

Sydney harbour is still fishing well for kingfish, Roman is pictured with a nice fish caught on light gear which would have made for a bit of fun!

Xavy was back fishing over the weekend and also scored himself a nice Sydney Harbour king.

Freddie Clapshaw is pictured with a solid bream he caught in Sydney Harbour very early yesterday.

Kai Moylan scored himself a PB bream fishing in Sydney recently, plus a nice drummer and octopus while diving a couple of days ago.

Jewfish are still being caught in Botany Bay and in the Georges River.

Reports of flathead being caught in Botany Bay over near Towra point.

Blackfish being caught in numbers off the rocks at the back of Kurnell.

Tailor have been caught off the break wall at the entrance of Lake Illawarra recently on lures while fishing the incoming tide. The Jackson artist and trout tune lipless getting the job done.

Reports of trevally being caught on lures off Bass Point.

Bonito are being caught at Hill 60.

Vuki from our Taren Point store speared a nice kingfish and salmon off Kiama over the weekend.

St Georges Basin is fishing well for flathead and smaller pan-sized snapper.

Mitch is pictured with a nice snapper he speared down near Manyana over the weekend.
