The Shimano Sentire Nano 703 2-4kg Rod is a lightweight nano graphite rod, which means it's a step up from your standard graphite rod blank. What this delivers is a higher quality blank that's stronger, more durable and more sensitive. The entire Shimano Sentire Nano range has a medium speed action, which means they're quite flexible and the first two thirds of the rod length bend under load producing a rod range that's soft enough to use bait comfortably, but still stiff enough to use lures and soft plastics effectively also. They're built with quality componentry including tangle-free Fuji Alconite K guides for optimum performance.
The Shimano Nexave FE spin reels represent great value for money for newcomers to the sport. An XT-7 body keeps weight down and strength under load up, while 3 shielded stainless steel ball bearings and 1 roller bearing makes winding the handle as effortless as can be. The Nexave 2500HG is the perfect little estuary-sized reel, it's got enough grunt to haul in bigger flathead and other similar fish with ease, but it's finesse enough to have plenty of fun with smaller fish like bass and whiting. It's suited for any sort of braid between 6-15lb with 8lb and 10lb being the recommended strengths for general estuary use, and for mono you can use similarly strong lines.

Orders placed before 9:30am that contain standard items only will be sent the same day if all items are in stock.
Orders containing bulky or oversized items are sent with a courier and picked up from our store one business day after we process them.
For orders with missing items, we may be able to transfer them from our second store location which can take between 1-3 days. If this happens with your order, we will contact you asap to let you know of the delay.
We do not send items on weekends or public holidays, an exception being the weeks leading up to Christmas. Thus, items ordered on Friday after 9:30am will be sent Monday.
