Penn Slammer IV Spinning Reel

The Penn Slammer range has had an upgrade with the new Penn Slammer IV spinning reel range, seeing advances in water protection, drag usability and overall smoothness. As always, the Slammer IV is super heavy-duty and reel flex isn't an issue.

The heavy-duty Penn Slammer IV reels are built off the proven IPX6 sealed body and spool for fantastic water resistance, with an added hydrophobic line roller that repels water better than the previous models.

Penn have also redesigned the Dura-Drag system in the Slammer IV reels to not only be better sealed, but also offer a wider range of usable drag. All models feature the Dura-Drag system with carbon fibre washers, other than the smallest 2500 sized reels which have HT-100 drag technology with carbon fibre washers within them.

There's a reel for all types of fishing in the Penn Slammer IV spinning reel range, from live baiting in the surf and spinning from the rocks, to deepwater jigging and switch baiting a billfish.
