The Daiwa Slippery Dog has been re-invented and re-tuned, and now features tungsten weighting, improving the posture of the lure in the water and drastically improving the lure's responsiveness when retrieved.
A topwater walk-the-dog lure, The Daiwa Infeet Slippery Dog Lure is the perfect fleeing prawn imitation. The TG Tune models now feature 2 small plastic rattle beads placed in the head of each lure, emulating the clicking sound of fleeing prawns on the surface.
The two sizes (65mm and 80mm) perfectly cover all estuarine and freshwater environments encountered by keen light-tackle anglers across Australia. The newer 80mm size is for when fish are feeding aggressively, or when casting distance is paramount.
Each Daiwa Infeet Slippery Dog Lure now comes fitted with BKK Striker Assist hooks on the rear eyelet, a feature many keen Whiting anglers can attest to increasing hook-up rates. The free-swinging hooks sit below the lure when paused and can freely swing across to secure a hook-up during the strike.
When targeting whiting with these lures, you really want to make sure that lure is continually moving otherwise they won't bother hitting the lure. As such, a constant wind is required whilst you twitch your rod tip up and down slightly to give the lure a walk-the-dog action.
The heavy tungsten weight in the rear of the lure will pull the back of it down under the water quite quickly, which effectively imitates how a prawns body move whilst fleeing across the surface more accurately.

Orders placed before 9:30am that contain standard items only will be sent the same day if all items are in stock.
Orders containing bulky or oversized items are sent with a courier and picked up from our store one business day after we process them.
For orders with missing items, we may be able to transfer them from our second store location which can take between 1-3 days. If this happens with your order, we will contact you asap to let you know of the delay.
We do not send items on weekends or public holidays, an exception being the weeks leading up to Christmas. Thus, items ordered on Friday after 9:30am will be sent Monday.
