I love this lure, and especially at this price. This model has a great colour range to choose from. This size casts further and has sturdier hooks to tackle larger fish. If there are larger flathead and tailor around, it is time to upgrade to this size. It offers all the benefits of that made Double Clutch so well renowned but this works well in the ocean and off ocean walls. I really like Ayu 50/50, Blood Mulllet and Tilapia. The Tilapia colour stands out in murky waters and is a good choice when chasing larger fish in the river. Fergos Tackle World have been first class, with quick postage, packaged with care and all at a good price. They are a good bunch and I highly recommend them.

You know you are getting quality with the Daiwa Double Clutch range. The 95mm size gets a little more distance in the cast and is a more appealing size for tailor and flathead. A quick wind of the reel to get it to dive and then a slow wind with some twitches seems to work well. I also just use a slow wind and a sweeping action where you can feel it vibrating. I recommend the Laser Black and Gold and the Laser Wakasagi colours when river fishing. Both have a good amount of flash, which when combined with the movement, seems to draw them in.

Purchased a beautiful new rod and reel combo and received the jersey as a bonus. The jersey fits perfectly, dries quickly if wet and looks good. Very happy with the entire deal.

I live in the U.S. The Maverick is not available here. I stumbled across this reel looking at some lures that Australian fishermen use.
I am now the proud owner of a 5K, 6K and an 8k. Best reels on the market at their price point. Love them! Thank you!

I recently purchased a Shimano Saragosa SWA Spin Reel 18000HG for my brother who fishes on Swains Reef on a regular basis. Whilst it was a birthday present, I know what type of reel he likes. To get the Emperor and Coral trout out behind the safety of their reef and into the boat before the Bull sharks rip them to pieces is a must. The Saragosa is the perfect reel to get it done.

Had this in the box for a while.
I normally fish soft plastics exclusively, but pulled this fellow out when I couldn't get a bump today on the softies.
Very very surprised!
Instantly the bream went ballistic, especially on a slow retrieve. A couple of good flatties involved themselves along the sandy edges.
Even when barely turning the handle this lure has a powerful throb.
Used the shit brown colour to great effect.
I've got the white/pink colour also which produced but would probably be better suited to low light or sand flats.
Going to invest in the seaweed green colour when I can put the rod down long enough to pull my wallet out.
