  • A handy addition to any tackle bag, the Jackson Rod Egg provides protection when on the move or when rods are stored in a super easy, smart and simple way. Designed with 5 holes of varying diameters, the Jackson Rod Egg replaces rod wraps by allowing you to stick multiple pieces of rods together without scratching one another, so it's particularly good for high-end gear.

The Rod Egg is made out of a soft and strong elastomer (rubbery) material that you open up, put the rod in and then let it sit back around the rod to hold it in place. You can use these when walking from spot to spot, when storing you rods, and even make sure your rods aren't in contact with any surfaces during travel to minimise scratching and breakages.

Awesome

I didn't need it due to the two piece rod covers that I got in Perth, so I gave it to a friend of mine and he raves about it every time sees me fishing. He thinks that they are the best ever for two piece light or heavy rods. I dare you could use two of them for your shorter one piece rods to stop them rubbing up against each other.
