This Shimano 2500 Series Graphite Rod allows you to fish with either bait, soft plastics and/or hard body lures for a range of fish species you'd typically find in an estuary such as bream, whiting, flathead, tailor, bass etc. Graphite rods are much more responsive and sensitive than fiberglass rods, which is what makes this rod work well with soft plastics and hard body lures. The extra sensitivity of graphite also means if you're fishing with bait you'll feel just about every little touch and nibble from even small fish, making it a whole lot more exciting. It's a 2 piece rod that packs away nice and neatly, it's super light and very easy to handle.
The Shimano Sienna FG is a staple Shimano reel widely known for its high performance considering its low cost. Again, super easy to use and still quite good quality even though it's one of the cheaper models.
The reel comes pre-spooled with 150m of quality Dog Tooth Fluidcast HS Braid ready to go. It's a very nice braid that's been around for years and is increasingly getting better, this new HS version of the braid is now thinner and smoother than ever too.

Orders placed before 9:30am that contain standard items only will be sent the same day if all items are in stock.
Orders containing bulky or oversized items are sent with a courier and picked up from our store one business day after we process them.
For orders with missing items, we may be able to transfer them from our second store location which can take between 1-3 days. If this happens with your order, we will contact you asap to let you know of the delay.
We do not send items on weekends or public holidays, an exception being the weeks leading up to Christmas. Thus, items ordered on Friday after 9:30am will be sent Monday.
