Built for the avid traveller, the Penn Battle III travel kit was designed for general offshore reef fishing for species such as snapper and the like, and/or heavier estuary conditions chasing fish like jewfish and smaller kingfish.
At 7ft long the rod is not too long to use out of a boat and will still give you quite a long cast if you're fishing off a bank. It's line rating is also a great all-round rating allowing you to fish many different styles and fishing types no matter where you're travelling to and what you're chasing!
The Penn Battle III meets the expectations of saltwater anglers as a true workhorse reel with incredible strength, smoothness and durability. Built classic Penn tough, Battle III is designed to fish livies on locked drags, crank fish from the deep or put the brakes on big fish in the surf. It wasn't awarded the best new saltwater reel at iCast 2020 for no good reason, it'll be up to any test you put it to.

Orders placed before 9:30am that contain standard items only will be sent the same day if all items are in stock.
Orders containing bulky or oversized items are sent with a courier and picked up from our store one business day after we process them.
For orders with missing items, we may be able to transfer them from our second store location which can take between 1-3 days. If this happens with your order, we will contact you asap to let you know of the delay.
We do not send items on weekends or public holidays, an exception being the weeks leading up to Christmas. Thus, items ordered on Friday after 9:30am will be sent Monday.
