Sydney & Wollongong Fishing Report

Customer Derek Dammers went out during the week and finally nailed his first metre Kingfish in deep water off Sydney on a live yakka.

A Taren point Customer fished the Georges River recently and caught a good sized Jewfish on the Jackson Artist SL130 col GSU .

Snapper have been on the bite around the Hump at Stanwell Tops over the weekend with many anglers using both Baits & Soft Plastics.

Both Bluespot & Sand Flathead are being caught off Garie in around 35-40m of water using Microjigs.

Plenty of Yellowfin being caught lately up and down our coast. Mike Bonnici and the crew on board Pro-fish-ent landed a couple of cracking Yellowfin that went 76kg and 68kg.

Captain Josh Plush and crew fished Friday on the boat Cruise Control out of Port Hacking and managed to land two nice Yellowfin between the 30-35kg range from a 4-way hookup. There were also a few Dolphinfish, Albacore and other Yellowfin caught between other boats out there.

Mick Bailey took out his boat Warlord and a few mates for a nice session wide off Port Hacking on Sunday and got stuck into the Yellowfin Tuna.

Jake Willick with a nice Yellowfin he caught late last week off Shellharbour among a few others. They found a nice patch of fish busting up on the surface and threw soft plastics and stick baits at them with luck.

Salmon & Tailor are in very good numbers in and around the Wollongong region with a few Reds thrown in the mix. Many anglers are using Metal Jigs/Spinners and Soft Plastics.

Jackson Sweet cuahgt and absolute horse of a Whiting a few days ago off his kayak in Port Hacking River. The elbow slapper went 46cm and had a nice fat belly.
