Fishing Report

Water temperatures are nice and warm now which is bringing the Marlin right in close. Peter Vatos recently fought and landed his first solo Bkack Marlin in only 60 fathoms off Cronulla, proving they’re in real close and don’t need a huge boat to catch them!

Jesse Jeffs landed a nice solo 65kg Black Marlin off Wollongong over the weekend too. His mum Tracey also fished and managed a nice 7kg Dollie.

The Botany Bay GFC Tournament was held over the weekend and was a big success. A number of Marlin were tagged and released, some boats getting two and three fish each.

Joel Oliver is pictured with one of the Striped Marlin he’s caught recently fishing with Sandy and Luke Goreki.

A few nice Dolphinfish were caught off the Port Hacking FAD over the weekend.

Jayden is pictured with a nice little King he pulled from the Hacking last week.

Botany Bay has been fishing well for Kingfish, Tailor, Bream and Whiting on both bait and lures.

Bass Point has been active over the last week with Kingfish and pan-sized Snapper. Zac Forst (pictured) went diving with Mitch at Bassy too for a good haul of nice lobster.

Bonito have been plentiful in and around Bass Point lately.

Lake Conjola is still fishing very well for Flathead, plenty of table sized specimens are being pulled from the lake.
