Fishing Forecast

With a storm tonight and strong southerlies forecast for Saturday, it looks like the AFL Grand Final will have record viewing rates. But come Sunday and Monday the seas and winds are tipped to be slight to moderate with both days having strong fishing possibilities.

Monday in particular having the smallest seas and looking like a great day for Offshore, Rock or Beach fisho’s.

Peak solunar fish feeding times are 8am-10am and 3pm-5pm on Sunday and an hour later Monday, so plenty of time to have a couple of settling drinks before the BIG Grand Final Sunday night (don’t peak too early).

Low tides on Sunday on the beach are 5am and then again 6pm, with high tide at 11:30am and about an hour later on Monday of course.

Best of luck to all the Trouties heading off up the streams for the start of the season, we’d love to see some photos and best of luck with whatever Grand Final you are following over the weekend.

Have a great one
