Offshore is really starting to fire up now with both Black and Striped Marlin being caught, plus the FADs are fishing well for Dolphinfish too. Inshore the flatties are being caught more often with the warmer water temps, so too are jewfish.
Lots of Jewfish being caught recently, and good sized fish too. Bigger Kingfish are starting to show up our coast and they’re also being caught in our estuaries. Estuaries are firing with typical species like bream, flathead and whiting, and the water’s warming up so the shallow water surface bite is coming on!
Inshore fishing is really heating up now! Kingfish are being caught more frequently and with more meat on them. Land based fishing is picking up now to with good schools of salmon, plus snapper being caught. Yellowfin Tuna are still around just a little more patchy then they have been lately being the end of the season.

Botany Bay fished well this week with Flathead being the main culprit, plenty of Bream too. Pelagics are on fire off the rocks on the south coast at the moment, Kings, Bonnies and Mac Tuna in the mix. Still some action out wide and Lake Illawarra is producing the usual suspects.
